Background
Christopher Fleming was born in Livonia and raised in South Lyon, Michigan. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University, where he had the select honor of presenting at the EMU Undergraduate Symposium, before going on to earn his Juris Doctor from Southern Illinois University School of Law — retaining a Dean's Scholarship all three years.
From Private Practice to the Prosecutor's Office
After passing the Michigan Bar, Christopher established his own general practice in Monroe, where he handled civil litigation, domestic relations, and criminal defense across the full spectrum — from traffic matters to serious felonies. He subsequently joined the Lenawee County Prosecutor's Office as an Assistant Prosecutor, representing the People of the State of Michigan in cases ranging from traffic violations to life-offense felonies, and working in close coordination with law enforcement agencies across the county — including the Michigan State Police, the Sheriff's Office, and local city and township departments. After more than five years in public service — recognized with the Five-Year Prosecutor Award from the Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan — Christopher returned to private practice in 2024, joining the Lievens Law Firm as Of Counsel.
In 2026, Christopher founded Fleming Law Firm PLLC — bringing together his private-practice breadth and his firsthand understanding of how the prosecution evaluates and builds a case into a single, client-centered firm rooted in the communities he has spent his career serving.
